One watch that I really want to see, touch and hear.

A Blog to Watch's hands-on review
This site is something of a gallery: a pictorial tribute to the high quality creations that have advanced the art, science and history of horology; as well as the personalities who created them, and the designers and image makers who portray them so desirably. For the most part, I prefer to let these pieces speak for themselves.

IWC - Portugieser Annual Calendar
I love a well executed blue dial - and this is a superb example.

Lang & Heyne - Albert von Sachsen (part 2)
Sadly, I have never seen a Lang & Heyne watch in the metal. I don't know how many of the few dozen pieces they produce each year make it anywhere near me in Australia. But the one I want to handle the most is the Albert von Sachsen. I'm thinking black dial.

Tudor - Fastrider Black Shield (Ref. 42000CN)
Tudor have added a new model to the Fastrider Black Shield collection - which I had the pleasure of meeting tonight thanks to the Australian launch event held by Gregory at the Sydney Hilton. This is now my new favourite in the range. For me, the all important legibility factor has been ramped up with the high contrast white indications against the black of the dial and ceramic case. The leather strap continues the same aesthetic with white stitching on black leather, or it comes with rubber for practicality.
Serving suggestion: wear this piece while riding your new Ducati XDiavel.
This one has my fingerprints on it, thanks to the finger food at Gregory's launch event tonight at the Sydney Hilton. The "Do Not Touch" signs were absent - it was nice to be encouraged to handle them and try them on.
