Hublot - Classic Fusion Chrono Cricket

Generally I find the tie-ins between watches and sport/cars/movies/whatever to be rather tenuous, but I think Hublot have done a pretty good job of creating a cricket themed watch in this piece.

Vacheron Constantin - Reference 57260

Congratulations to Vacheron Constantin for 260 continuous years of producing mechanical masterpieces. And to mark the occasion they have spent the last eight of those years creating this - the most complicated watch ever made. Without knowing what I'm talking about, I'm assuming the reference number is derived from 57, being the number of complications, and 260, being the anniversary. While the reference number is appropriate, as opposed to random, I'm not sure that "pocket watch" is the correct term for this piece. Its 2,826 parts are contained in a case measuring 98mm in diameter and 50.55mm in thickness, and with a weight of almost a kilogram not many pockets would be big enough to accommodate the thing - or deep enough to pay for it. Not that it's in search of a buyer, having been specially commissioned.
