This site is something of a gallery: a pictorial tribute to the high quality creations that have advanced the art, science and history of horology; as well as the personalities who created them, and the designers and image makers who portray them so desirably. For the most part, I prefer to let these pieces speak for themselves.

Lang & Heyne - Albert (part 3)
...but my favourite Lang & Heyne piece (actually, one of my favourite watches of all time) is still the Albert - formally/formerly Albert von Sachsen. Platinum case. Black dial. Gold hands. Yes please!

Lang & Heyne - Heinrich
Another instant classic from Lang &
Heyne is the Heinrich – which, along with the time, elegantly displays the
date, and, very usefully, the power reserve.

Lang & Heyne - König Johann
Another classic from Lang & Heyne. This piece is powered by Calibre 1, as is the Friedrich August 1.

Lang & Heyne - Albert von Sachsen (part 2)
Sadly, I have never seen a Lang & Heyne watch in the metal. I don't know how many of the few dozen pieces they produce each year make it anywhere near me in Australia. But the one I want to handle the most is the Albert von Sachsen. I'm thinking black dial.
