This site is something of a gallery: a pictorial tribute to the high quality creations that have advanced the art, science and history of horology; as well as the personalities who created them, and the designers and image makers who portray them so desirably. For the most part, I prefer to let these pieces speak for themselves.

Breguet - Classique Grande Complication Tourbillon 5317
The first time I saw this watch was at The Hour Glass in Sydney, and as I approached the unattended display cabinet I was thrilled to see that it was actually running. The otherwise interruptive opening in the dial became a window into the living heartbeat of the watch, beautifully displaying the mesmerising movement of the tourbillon. It's amazing how different it is to experience a time piece actually in action compared to sitting there lifeless.
